Less Stress More Success !

Are you a world schooling parent ? I offer a Montessori program for families with children ages 5 -12 How it works: Personalized Learning During each session, I bring Montessori materials such as the math checkerboard, sentence analysis materials, grammar boxes, & other Montessori- materials. I work with each student at their own pace, providing customized lessons in areas like math, language, and lessons from the Montessori cosmic curriculum. The cosmic curriculum ties together geography, history, & science giving children a holistic view of the world and their place in it. For example, a lesson might involve using the math checkerboard to explore triple digit multipliers, or grammar symbols to construct a sentence structure, all while connecting to a broader lesson in history or geography. Follow-Up Activities: After each session, I provide hands-on follow-up activities for children to continue their learning. Activities might include projects, or exercises that reinforce the lesson content, such as creating a list of synonyms, making a 2D art diorama with plants and animals from the Carboniferous Period in the Timeline of Life lesson, or building an acute angled, isosceles triangle with the geometry box. Ongoing Communication with Parents: I believe in the importance of strong communication with parents, so I regularly check in via email, phone, or in-person meetings. This helps ensure that parents are well-supported in guiding their child's learning between my sessions. I offer practical advice, suggest resources, and give updates on the child’s progress, addressing any concerns or areas where the child may need extra support. Incorporating the Montessori Approach: Each session emphasizes self-directed learning, allowing children to explore and discover concepts for themselves. I make sure that math and language are core components of every lesson, while integrating Montessori’s cosmic curriculum to spark curiosity about the world around them. The curriculum blends academic lessons with critical thinking, problem-solving, and a focus on global awareness and interconnectedness, which is key to Montessori education. In this program, the goal is not just to teach specific subjects but to foster a love of learning and encourage independence. I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where children feel empowered to explore and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, all within the framework of the Montessori philosophy.
